Course Description

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Canadian tax law. The session will cover taxation of individuals and corporations, tax residency rules, and cross-border taxation issues. Participants will gain insights into Canadian filing requirements, tax credits, deductions, and the tax treatment of foreign income. By the end of the course, attendees will have a foundational understanding of the Canadian tax framework, enabling them to assist clients with cross-border financial matters better and ensure compliance with Canadian tax obligations.
